Born in Naples in 1967, she took her egree in History of the Theatre at the Facoltà di Lettere Moderne dell’Università Federico II di Napoli. After one year on a scholarship at the Université La Sorbonne in Paris, she returned to Italy to complete her university studies with a PhD on Neapolitan music theatre in the 17th century. She has collaborated with Prof. Franco Carmelo Greco, professor of Storia del Teatro moderno e contemporaneo at the Università di Napoli, helping to conduct seminars and writing for publications that he supervise. Currently, together with Antonio Florio, she is directing the Centro di Musica Antica Pietà de’ Turchini as coordinator of the concert, didactic and research activities and acting consultant for the revision of texts and libretti for the works performed by the Cappella della Pietà de’ Turchini. She is a member of the board of directors of the Baroque orchestra “Cappella della Pietà de’ Turchini.“
